Winger Ousmane Dembele reportedly angers staff at Barcelona by going AWOL from training on Thursday.
Barcelona winger Osumane Dembele reportedly opted to miss training on Thursday without telling the Spanish giants.
Dembele has endured an indifferent period at Barca since moving to the club in August 2017, with just 25 starts and 13 substitute appearances being made for the Catalan side.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the 21-year-old has not helped his chances of a run in the starting lineup after going AWOL for a short period on Thursday.
The report claims that Dembele failed to inform staff that he planned to miss training due to illness, and did not answer his phone for around 90 minutes.
Contact was eventually made and Dembele’s reasoning has not been disputed, but his behaviour has allegedly angered people at the club.
Dembele played 81 minutes as Barcelona registered a 1-1 draw at Inter Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
