Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas wants to remain at the Bernabeu beyond the end of this summer’s transfer window.
Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas is keen to remain at the Bernabeu next season.
The Costa Rica international continues to be linked with a move away from Los Blancos, though, with the club expected to make big changes in this summer’s transfer window.
Navas, however, is ‘hopeful’ that he will be able to stay at Madrid heading into the 2019-2020 season.
“I’m very happy, grateful to God for giving me the chance to be here,” Navas told reporters. “Whenever I get the opportunity to play I do the best I can. I hope I can stay at Madrid next season. I have a contract and we have to wait and see if anything changes there.”
Navas has made over 150 appearances for Madrid since a 2014 move from Levante, winning one La Liga title and three Champions League crowns during his time at the club.
