Golovin is regarded as the top player in Russian football and the 22-year-old has just helped his country reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
The report suggests that Golovin would prefer to move to Turin to represent the Italian champions rather than a switch to London to play for Chelsea, who are expected to replace sacked head coach Antonio Conte with Maurizio Sarri.
Golovin still has three years remaining on his contract at CSKA but it appears likely that a top European club will secure the player’s services this summer.
