Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Ham United

Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Chelsea ahead of Monday night’s London derby with West Ham United.

Chelsea will climb back into the top four of the Premier League table if they beat West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Neither Tottenham Hotspur nor Manchester United are in action this weekend, meaning that victory for Chelsea would lift them up to at least fourth, and potentially as high as third depending on Arsenal’s result against Everton on Sunday.

Only a win may do for the fans as they continue to put pressure on manager Maurizio Sarri, although the Blues did return to form with a comfortable 3-0 win over FA Cup semi-finalists Brighton & Hove Albion in midweek.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Chelsea ahead of Monday’s London derby.

Sarri suggested that Marcos Alonso would only need “three or four days” of rest to recover from a slight hamstring strain, so the Spaniard should be in contention for West Ham’s visit.
