Borussia Dortmund consider an approach for Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Thorgan Hazard, according to a report.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly considering an approach for Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Thorgan Hazard.

Hazard has scored seven times and registered four assists in nine appearances for Gladbach this term, but the Belgium international’s future is being called into question with his contract due to expire in 2020.

The 25-year-old, who is the brother of Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard, failed to make a single appearance during his time at Stamford Bridge, but has impressed in German football.

According to Sky Germany, Dortmund have been encouraged by Hazard’s development over the last 12 months, and are now considering a January approach for the versatile attacker.

Dortmund are currently top of the Bundesliga having won six of their eight league fixtures this term.
