Arsenal injury, suspension list vs. Valencia

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal’s latest injury and suspension news ahead of the second leg of their Europa League semi-final with Valencia.

Arsenal head into the second leg of their Europa League semi-final with Valencia knowing that they need to win this competition in order to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Barring an unlikely set of circumstances, Arsenal will finish outside of the top-four of the Premier League standings after registering a 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon.

Aaron Ramsey has already played his last game for Arsenal having sustained a hamstring injury in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final with Napoli last month.

Denis Suarez will also play further part this season, with the Barcelona loanee having already confirmed his absence from the Gunners squad.

Arsenal confirmed on Sunday that Danny Welbeck will leave the club at the end of the season, and it currently appears unlikely that the forward will return to the squad as he goes through the final stages of his recovery from a broken ankle.

Arsenal have no suspension issues ahead of travelling to Spain for Thursday’s second leg.
